- mission
The CMS Sainte Marie Madeleine (Medical-Social Center) is today the main activity of ASI-TOGO. Located in Lomé, it welcomes vulnerable populations who do not have access to a classical healthcare pathway.
Three areas of activity
The CMS is structured around three complementary areas:
🩺 Consultation & care unit
- General consultation room
- Treatment room (injections, dressings)
- Observation bed room for patients requiring short-term monitoring
🤱 Maternity unit
- Antenatal consultations
- Equipped delivery room
- Analysis laboratory (spectrophotometer, centrifuge, microscope, reagent refrigerator)
💊 Support unit
- Integrated pharmacy — immediate delivery of prescribed treatments
- Administrative office and on-call room for staff
- Patient sanitary facilities
Why it is essential
For many families we support, the CMS is:
- The first access point to care without significant cash advance
- Continuous prenatal monitoring for mothers, reducing delivery risks
- A source of affordable medication at controlled prices
- A reassuring presence in the neighborhood
The 2026 challenge
Our 2026 recovery plan puts the CMS at the center of our strategy. It is the activity that earns enough to balance operations and meets a vital need of the community.
Supporting ASI-TOGO in 2026 means above all sustaining this center.
