Quick FAQ

Frequent questions

What is the minimum mission duration?

Ideally 2 to 6 months. Shorter missions (3 to 4 weeks) are possible for targeted projects (audit, audiovisual, training).

Is there a stipend?

As a Togolese non-profit NGO, ASI-TOGO does not pay a stipend. Volunteers cover their travel and living costs. We facilitate housing and supervision.

What is the working language?

French is the working language. Knowing some Ewe is a plus for community fieldwork but not mandatory.

When should I apply?

Ideally 3 months before your intended start date. That gives us time to prepare the program, housing and agreement.
